Individualised residential aged care to ensure a positive experience for residents and families.

Beaufort and Skipton Health Service offers a variety of choices to meet the individual needs of anyone that uses our services. The Health Service recently received excellent Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Compliance Star Ratings for all of our aged care facilities.

Our facilities are small which makes it easy to form friendships and connections with other residents and staff. Our goal is to provide care that is holistic and individualised so that you feel valued and important. We prioritise, and get to know you, your family and friends personally, so that we can tailor care that reflects your individual preference and enables a positive experience for all.

We have highly qualified, caring and compassionate staff across all of our facilities that support you to live life the way that you choose. Registered nurses are on site, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, and all of our care staff are registered and well qualified to meet all of your clinical care needs.

All our menus have been developed in consultation with a dietitian ensuring that all meals meet your nutritional needs. Meals are freshly prepared and cooked on site and there is a changing menu that allows you choice and variety.

We are proud of our commitment to provide you with the best care possible. BSHS is continuously improving and looking for ways to advance the services and care that we provide. We are fully compliant with all 44 Aged Care Quality Standards, through the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, giving you assurance and peace of mind of the high quality care that we provide.

You will have access to a leisure and lifestyle program that is tailored especially for you. There are a range of different activities that you can participate in including group activities, gardening, bus trips and one on one time with a leisure and lifestyle staff member. Allied Health staff such as physiotherapist, podiatrist, dietitian and social worker are available to come to you should you require their services.

To become a resident in any aged care facility requires an assessment by an Aged Care Assessment (ACAS) Officer. Referral to ACAS can be made by your General Practitioner, service provider, family member, carer or you may self-refer.
