BEAUFORT RESIDENTS RETURN

After evacuating the Health Service facilities due to the bushfire across the region earlier this month, one week later our Ripon Peace Nursing Home, Delama Hostel residents and Acute Care patients returned to our facilities.

With coordination and assistance from Grampians Health – Ballarat campus and the Department of Health residents and patients were strategically relocated to similar facilities at services in Ballarat. It was the highest priority to maintain resident relationships and keep those who are most familiar with each other together.

We also welcomed back our many staff who adapted to working in new facilities while continuing to provide high quality care for our patients and residents.

The Health Service would like to acknowledge and thank Grampians Health – Ballarat campus and the Department of Health for their continued support and assistance during this time.
