We provide high quality care for all your serious and ongoing health care needs.

Where is our Acute Care located?

We have Acute Care services at both Beaufort and Skipton campuses. We have 10 beds at Beaufort and six beds at Skipton.

What do we do?

Our nurses are highly trained with Registered Nurses maintaining Advanced Cardiac Life Support accreditation and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We strive to provide excellent care to our community that meets their expectations.

Doctors from the Skipton Medical Clinic and Beaufort Family Practice provide support during the week and are available on call after hours.

Patients are admitted under the care of their Visiting Medical Officer (or GP) and in consultation with the nurse in charge.

What can you expect?

High quality care from our nursing staff. In addition, Allied Health staff are available onsite and are involved in your care if required. Our hotel and support services staff (kitchen, cleaning and maintenance) work closely with the nursing staff and are integral in making your stay as comfortable as possible. Discharge planning is undertaken by our staff in consultation with you. You will be provided with an up to date medication list, follow up appointments and services that have been organised to help you once you are home.

We are fully accredited under standards developed by the Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service Commission.
