BSHS PRESENTED WITH NATIONAL AWARD
Beaufort and Skipton Health Service has been recognised for its community engagement and significant cultural shift with a national award. The national award is one rarely awarded by Huron Studer.
The Health Service is delighted to be the recipient of the Australian Organisation Excellence Award, following our collaboration with Huron Studer over the last four years to improve workplace culture and standards.
Recent internal and community-based surveys indicate significant improvements at BSHS over the last few years, with the Health Service now recognised as a leader in the region for local engagement and culture.
“I’m so proud of the team and how they have come together to ensure we are providing excellent care for our community and for each other”, CEO, Meryn Pease said. “We’ve still got a way to go but we have the the right recipe to take that next step”.
Prioritising local needs through health and wellbeing events and opening spaces on several boards and committees for locals has been a key focus to improve community engagement.
The award is a wonderful acknowledgment of the hard work from staff across the whole organisation, as we continue to strive for further community engagement and cultural improvement.
