Personal Care Worker

The Personal Care Worker (PCW) is an integral member of the clinical team, supporting the Associate Nurse Unit Manager and other clinical staff to ensure the delivery of quality person centred care in an efficient clinical environment.

These casual positions are offered at both Beaufort and Skipton campuses.

Psychologist

Permanent Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Beaufort and Skipton Health Service are committed to enabling all people in our community to be connected, healthy and live will. We are introducing a psychologist service to improve access for mental health support within our communities.

The Psychologist will be required to work within the Community Health team to provide clinical advice and support to managers and other staff and work on an individual basis to provide high level clinical consultations and therapeutic support to individuals and families to address mental health and wellbeing needs.

The Community Health team provides multidisciplinary case management and support to people residing in Beaufort, Skipton and the surrounding area. Working under the direction of the Allied Health and Medical Clinic Manager or delegate, the Psychologist will be required to:

•           Provide psychological services and therapeutic support to individuals and groups, including to young people, adults, families and aged residents;

•           Conduct Psychological Assessments for clients of BSHS;

•           Provide clinical advice to BSHS staff and managers about ethical and effective ways to address the mental health and wellbeing needs of clients; and

•           Contribute to the design, development and evaluation of the BSHS’s mental health and psychological programs and services.

Social Worker

Permanent Part-Time (0.3 EFT)

Beaufort and Skipton Health Service are committed to enabling all people in our community to be connected, healthy and live will. We are recruiting for a social worker to support people within our communities.

The Social Worker is a vital team member in the provision of preventative care and ongoing care and treatment for our community members.

The Social Worker will work with individuals, families, groups and communities to support the physical, social and cultural wellbeing of clients. The Social Worker will maintain a dual focus on both assisting with and improving human wellbeing and identifying and addressing any external issues that may impact on the client’s wellbeing.

The Social Worker will undertake casework, counselling, advocacy, community engagement and development and social action to address issues at a personal and social level.

This position may be required to work at both Beaufort and Skipton campus.
