Remedial massage uses a variety of specialised techniques to overcome the pain commonly associated with tight, knotted, tense or damaged muscles.

Our remedial massage service provides a treatment that can be gentle, deep or strong, depending on what the problem requires. Remedial massage treats the whole body. The massage therapist will assess your body to identify any dysfunction in the muscles or joints that causes pain or stiffness.

Key benefits of remedial massage include the stimulation to the blood supply allowing toxins in the muscles to be removed; the calming of the peripheral nervous system to ease pain and discomfort; and the toning and relaxing of muscles to improve joint mobility.

In addition to massage for general health and wellbeing, our remedial massage therapists treat chronic back pain and other musculoskeletal pain, including pain caused by arthritis and pregnancy, fibromyalgia, headaches, lymphedema (fluid retention), sports injuries and insomnia.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system is the first defence in fighting infections, removing metabolic waste and pushing toxins out of the body. This massage is generally a whole body massage using relatively light strokes.
