Murray to Moyne Bike Relay
Beaufort and Skipton Health Service have had long term involvement with the Murray to Moyne Bike Relay (http://www.murraytomoyne.com.au/) with their team “Keays to Success”.
This charity cycling relay covers 520km’s with teams choosing to ride from Mildura, Swan Hill or Echuca, through Hamilton and finishing in the coastal town of Port Fairy. Established in 1987 by Hester and Graham “Woody” Woodrup, the ride aims to:
- Raise funds for Hospitals and Health Services throughout Victoria (teams nominate a health service to support).
- Continue Woody's dream of getting more people to realise the fabulous health and social benefits of riding a bike.
2019 was another successful ride for “Keays to Success” with the target of $5,000 reached, with funds being used to assist with the installation of automatic doors at our hostel facilities. Thank you to all involved.
“Keays to Success” will once again hit the road for 2020 with their team of riders and support crew, leaving from the township of Echuca and finishing up at Port Fairy.
